PO FILM

 Egret PO film is a major category of hot melt film products. PO is short for Polyolefins, which translates as polyolefin. So PO hot melt film is also called polyolefin hot melt film. So what is polyolefin? Polyolefin is a class of polymers collectively, usually refers to ethylene, propylene, 1-butene, 1-pentene, 1-hexene, 1-octene, 4-methyl-1-pentene, and other α-alkene and some cyclic alkene alone polymerization or co-polymerization of a class of thermoplastic resin. Polyethylene (PE, PE) and Polypropylene (PP) are the most common polyolefin used in the hot-melt film, which is also known as PE hot-melt film and PP hot-melt film. They are collectively known as PO hot-melt films.

 

Types of PO Film

There are 4 main hot melt film, including low temperature hot melt film, EVA hot melt film, PS hot melt film, TPU hot melt film, PO hot melt film. Egret currently only supplies PO hot melt film.

 

Advantages of PO Film

PO hot melt film is often produced by the flow method, can also be produced by the coating method, need to see the characteristics of the specific formula material.

 

PO hot melt film has good water-washing resistance. According to the different materials, it also has good low-temperature resistance or high-temperature resistance.

 

The highest temperature resistance is about 100℃. The advantage of PO hot melt film is that it has a very good bonding effect on metal, plastic, wood and other materials, not only strong bonding, but also high temperature boiling resistance, weather resistance.

 

Applications of PO Film

PO hot melt film has the opportunity to be used in the field of building materials which often have high requirements for weather resistance. The most mature, and currently the largest amount of PO hot melt film application is the manufacture of aluminum-plastic plate, used for bonding aluminum skin and a plastic plate. In addition, the manufacture of aluminum honeycomb panels also has some demand for this kind of hot melt film. Plus, it is also can be used for refrigerators, to bond aluminum tubes onto the evaporator plate.
