KRAFT PAPER TAPE

 Egret so-called kraft paper tape or brown paper tape is used a lot as packing sealing tape, and for refrigerator internal parts fixing. Normally is coated with natural rubber glue or solvent based acrylic adhesive. Plus, it has no liner. The base material is brown kraft paper laminated with PET film or other chemical material. The material is very thin, and has low tensile strength and low elongation, not stretchable, and very easy to tear. Because of this feature, it is suitable for packing the carton, sealing he gap, stop the leakage, etc. In the meantime, after you remove the tape, it has no glue residue on the surface.

Process of Kraft Paper Tape Production

NO.1

First, we will choose 80 mic to 110 mic thickness kraft paper.

 

NO.2

Second, we laminate the PET film or other chemical film on the kraft paper.

 

NO.3

Third, we coat with very high bond synthetic rubber resin or solvent based, water-based adhesives. The choice of glue is based on customers’ requirements on the adhesion strength. The thickness of glue we coat is about 20 microns to 30 microns.

 

NO.4

Finally, we use our lathe slitting machines to cut the jumbo rolls to different standard or nonstandard width and length of small rolls. The jumbo size is 1250mmx1000m.

  Egret PET tape uses polyester film as the base material, the back of the base material is coated with release agent, and the front is coated with high viscosity rubber pressure sensitive adhesive. The main colors of products are white and blue.   The main component of Po hotmelt film  is PO, which is called polyolefin in Chinese. It is known to include polyethylene and polypropylene. Polyethylene is tasteless, non-toxic, has low-temperature resistant, and good chemical resistance.
