MASKING TAPE

 Egret so-called masking tapes or crepe paper tape is used a lot for refrigerators internal sealing or wire budling. It has white, yellow, milky color, etc. Normally is coated with natural rubber glue or solvent based acrylic adhesive. Plus, it has no liner. The base material is saturated crepe paper. The material is very thin, and has low tensile strength and low elongation, not stretchable, and very easy to tear. Because of this feature, it is suitable for masking purpose while workers do the painting. In the meantime, after you remove the tape, it has no glue residue on the surface. Plus, kids can write or doodling on it because it is paper material.

Process of Masking Tape Production

NO.1

First, we will choose 100 mic to 120 mic thickness saturated crepe paper.

Second, we use yellow or other color paint to dye the crepe paper.

 

NO.3

Third, we coat with very high bond natural rubber or solvent based, water-based adhesives. The choice of glue is based on customers' requirements on the adhesion strength. The thickness of glue we coat is about 20 microns to 30 microns.

Finally, we use our lathe slitting machines to cut the jumbo rolls to different standard or nonstandard width and length of small rolls. The jumbo size is 1250mmx1000m.
